Creative Direction and Interior Design
Start to finish design services from brand identity elements and color palette to exterior storefront design and signage, interior design, repurposing salvaged fixtures, fixture design, display and visual merchandising for high end cannabis shop in Vancouver, Washington.
Extreme care was taken to ensure all legal requirements were met in setting the space as well as that merchandising was logical and intuitive for customers. Special features include custom made logo mural and Washington reclaimed wood map mural to highlight local suppliers.
The clients were amazing and the consumer response and reviews have been phenomenal! We had so much fun and success that I was honored to return to complete the expansion of their glass/accessory supply shop for their one year opening.
Reconfigured front entrance, large logo mural and custom designed exterior signage.
Custom made ID checkstand with logo for front entrance.
To embody the vintage automotive theme, we covered a portion of a huge wall in vintage license plates.
Installed faux brick wallpaper with custom painted logo.
We refaced salvaged fixtures with slatwood and used black gravel inside cases for display.
We created a 12' wide wooden slat map with silhouette of Washington state and places tags of vendors to display where product originates from.
We covered 2 walls with salvaged galvanized steel.
High 5 eventually expanded into space next door with a glass and accessories shop which I managed complete interior design, fixture fabrication, lighting and visual merchandising.
Front entrance of glass shop includes custom "Vintage Vancouver" display wall and custom flooring treatment (stencil painted distressed pattern on concrete).
